Yes, consultations are held with the concerned stakeholders to implement the development programmes.

3.2 Are the details of policies/decisions, which affect public, informed to them [Section 4(1)(c)]

The Directorate does not have public dealing or policies/decisions directly affecting public.  All relevant information of DASD activities is published on the website: www.dasd.kerala.gov.in. Updated information on availability of spices planting material in accredited nurseries by DASD is published in https://spicenurseries.in/ for the benefit of general public, especially farmers.

3.3 Dissemination of information widely and in such form and manner which is easily accessible to the public [Section 4 (3)]

All the publications are available in the web site:  https://dasd.kerala.gov.in

3.4 Form of accessibility of information manual/handbook  [Section 4(1)(b)]

Official Journal and other reports are published in printed format.

3.5 Whether information manual/ handbook available free of cost or not

  1. Leaflets on cultivation of spices are published in English, Malayalam and Hindi and are all free of cost.
  2. Official Journal – Indian Journal of Arecanut Spices and Medicinal Plants is a quarterly journal. Annual subscription rate is Rs.200/- and Rs.50/- per copy, Three year subscription rate : Rs.500/-.
