The Directorate does not have public dealing or policies/decisions directly affecting public. All relevant information of DASD activities is published on the website: www.dasd.kerala.gov.in. Updated information on availability of spices planting material in accredited nurseries by DASD is published in https://spicenurseries.in/ for the benefit of general public, especially farmers.

Official Journal and other reports are published in printed format.

- Leaflets on cultivation of spices are published in English, Malayalam and Hindi and are all free of cost.
- Official Journal – Indian Journal of Arecanut Spices and Medicinal Plants is a quarterly journal. Annual subscription rate is Rs.200/- and Rs.50/- per copy, Three year subscription rate : Rs.500/-.
